Staff and students at The Sixth Form Bolton were delighted to welcome the Managing Director of Operations at Manchester City Football Club, Danny Wilson, who came to speak to the Student Leadership group last week.
Danny, a Bolton Wanderers fan and former Bedford High School student, talked to our students about his career journey from studying Engineering to overseeing operations of the second highest revenue generating football club* globally. He spoke about the fantastic growth of the Manchester City brand and group and the vision for its future. He also spoke to students about the huge number of career opportunities available within the football industry and the huge variety of professions that are involved in the successful running of MCFC..
