During her second year of study, The Sixth Form helped Humaira to secure a 50 day Industry Placement at a local Solicitors firm, which she completed alongside her studies. This placement gave her valuable experience and enabled her to successfully secure a place to study Law at University. Humaira studied for her degree alongside working as a Legal Assistant at the same Solictors firm where she undertook her placement.

My advice to all students is to make the most of every single opportunity offered by the Sixth Form, regardless of how little it may look to you. The opportunities you grasp will open doors to success you never even imagined of being there. Do what you enjoy and make the most of every experience thrown at you. You will be grateful and appreciate the college once you see the fruits and success from the opportunities you took while studying at the college.
I left the Sixth Form 4 years ago and till this day I thank the careers team and I am forever grateful to them for making me complete 350 hours of work experience, from which I was offered a secure job and career path I never imagined myself doing! But here I am, graduated and ready to specialise in a field totally opposite to what I did in college. Take every single opportunity thrown at you. It will only benefit you!
